Glenlowren is elegant and down to earth at the same time. I approached my cabin through acres of farm animals and stunning perennial gardens. I entered to 6 arrangements of fresh flowers dotted throughout the cabin. Fresh bread, eggs from the farm, yogurt, granola, veggies, milk, juice, coffee and tea filled the kitchen fridge. I never saw a single person during my 3 night, magical setting. Birdlife was prolific. Each night I received an email asking if I needed anything. A really lovely, peaceful respite. One final note, I conveniently visited wineries and hiked trails during each day.

I spent two lovely nights at Glenlowren earlier this month after hearing about it from a friend. Beautiful country farm B&B that looks like something out of a fairy tale. Idyllic setting, wonderful hosts who were available but respected privacy. Beautifully appointed Settlers Cottage, amazing fireplace, fresh flowers throughout, all the fixings for a hearty breakfast and great location. Global Ballooning is right next door. I had booked a flight in Melbourne so didn’t fly there but first class operation as well.
